may NOT post any adult-oriented content on our servers.
You may not post any content that may be considered pornographic
in nature or deemed to be obscene. We're all for the 1st
Amendment - there's plenty of hosts out there who will let you
post your adult material, so we choose not to allow it here.

You may NOT host
a peer-to-peer site which allows for the download or sharing of
music, movies, games, software hacks, or any similar content
that may violate Copyright Law. This includes, but not
limited to, any WAREZ content, game cheats, cracks, mp3s, etc.
LEGITIMATE software and/or music that you own or have the rights
to may be distributed freely, of course.
Bandwidth:
Your package includes liberal monthly bandwidth traffic, and in
most cases you will never come close to exceeding the limit.
Bandwidth is monitored 24/7, and you will receive an email as
you approach your limit. If it is a rare occurrence that
you exceed your bandwidth limit, we'll charge you $1.00 per
Gigabyte over limit. if you are repeatedly reaching or
exceeding your limits, then we'll offer you the option to
upgrade to the next highest package for a nominal fee.
SPAM:
Ugliest 4-letter word there is. You may NOT use our
mail server to send out mass e-mailings to unsolicited
recipients. Period. Any such spamming will result in
suspension of your mailing privileges. No exceptions -
don't ask. If you have a LEGITIMATE mailing list with lots
of registered subscribers, please let us know so that we can
arrange for the additional traffic. If you buy 50,000
email addresses of potential buyers who have no idea who you
are, and certainly didn't ask for your email - that's SPAM.
Pretty simple. Don't abuse the server, and you can have
all the email addresses your package provides. Thanks.
(There are a ton of mass
mailing providers who will gladly take your money)
Abuse:
HASTOBENUTS is a fun place to be. So, hackers
beware - if you attempt to use our bandwidth for any malicious
activity such as denial of service attacks, propagation of
viruses, illegal access to restricted webspace, or any other
such stupidity, we will be glad to make sure you have a really
bad day. Ghosting your IP ain't gonna work, either. To
quote our friend the Grinch - we'll hunt you down and gut you
like a fish! We're here to provide happy clients with
exceptional service. Play nice.
Billing:
You will be asked upon registration to choose your method of
billing. Monthly billing is at the full rate, or you can
save by signing up for annual billing. A valid credit card
or PayPal account is required, and you will be required to keep
current credit card information available to us at all times in
the event that you incur any additional fees for bandwidth or
additional services requested. Failure to maintain such
credit card information may result in suspension and/or
termination of your account. Billing will be automatically
renewed at the end of your term, unless you notify us in writing
30 days prior to cancellation.
Guarantee:
30 days, no questions asked. If we fail to provide you
with the services we promised you, we'll gladly refund your
money. You must notify us in writing of your refund
request. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with our
services after the initial 30 day period, we will make every
attempt to rectify the situation immediately. If we are
unable to resolve any disputes, we will prorate any prepaid
amount up to the next billing cycle, and refund the difference.
Example: You
begin an annual agreement on the 15th of January. You're
unhappy on the 10th of May. If we can't fix it, we will
reimburse you for June 15 - January 14. |
